The Douglas Parent Advisory Council’s mission is:

To empower, support, and assist children who receive special education services to their full potential.

To promote a network of parents/guardians of students who receive or need special education services, to provide a forum to share information, educate, advocate, and raise awareness through community outreach.

To promote social opportunities within the community that can be enjoyed by children of all abilities.

To advise the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services, the Superintendent, and the School Committee regarding parent/guardian concerns.

To promote communication between Douglas PAC members, local, state, and national organizations, councils, and groups.
